It’s Time To Make Herstory

Much like Kamala Harris (aside from the fact that we share the same birthday ) I also come from a South Asian heritage: my parents immigrated to the United States from Mauritius when I was 15 for greater educational and professional opportunities—the essence of the American Dream. My family has always instilled in me the values of hard work and continuous learning, principles I strive to uphold.

In reflecting on the backgrounds of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, I recognize their strong commitment to hard work and public service. Their vision of serving a purpose beyond themselves epitomizes the ideals we should aspire to. Kamala Harris envisions an America that is unified and progressive, moving beyond outdated ideologies that only serve to elevate a select few. The Harris-Walz administration is dedicated to advancing initiatives that benefit infrastructure, housing access, and personal autonomy—essentially empowering individuals, specifically women, to make informed choices about their lives.

We have long discussed the importance of equality and inclusivity in leadership roles in not only the workplace but in our society. It is time to elevate a woman of color to the highest office in our nation. I am eager to participate in this pivotal moment and proudly stand as an American this November, marking the election of the first Black and South Asian woman as President of the United States.

For the past 14 years of my professional career, I have been committed to leading public infrastructure projects across the nation, all aimed at serving our communities. I view the Harris-Walz Administration as a vital partner in our pursuit of progressive policies that support these initiatives. I am proud to endorse the Harris and Walz team as we work together for a brighter future.

Let’s go MADAM PRESIDENT! We’ve witnessed history, let’s make this HERstory.
